Across 4 miles of demilitarized zone lies North Korea, a country that is still largely inscrutable to outsiders since the 1940s.
Putting aside the increasingly boisterous and incendiary rhetoric between U.S. President Donald Trump and the DPRK, life in North Korea is comparatively less noisy.
In Pyongyang, only a few people dot the streets and intersections amidst the towering structures. Miles away, villagers eke out a living in the bumpy countryside.
