NORTH Korea has said it is ready for an apocalyptic “do or die” battle with the US – as Donald Trump claims he is “totally prepared” for a “devastating” attack.

The body released a statement declaring: “The workers of North Korea are full of enthusiasm to supply more strategic weapons and ultra-modern war hardware… for the final showdown with the US.”
According to the Daily Star, the tub-thumping announcement urged the people of North Korea “to settle accounts with the US imperialists”.
The federation reportedly added: “We, the working class, will turn out in the do-or-die battle with the US in hearty response to the call of the respected Supreme Leader.”
The sabre-rattling statement came as Trump warned any US military strike would be "devastating" for Pyongyang.
Speaking about the possibility of a military strike against Pyongyang, Trump told a White House press conference: “We are totally prepared for the second option, not a preferred option.
“But if we take that option it will be devastating, I can tell you that – devastating for North Korea.
“That's called the military option. If we have to take it, we will.”
