PRESIDENT Trump has refused to rule out the possibility of a military response to North Korea’s ongoing threats and insisted he “will not be happy” if Kim Jong-un conducts another missile test.
Trump praised Chinese president Xi Jinping as he reiterated the prospect of war with North Korea
Pyongyang conducted another missile testearly on Saturday morning in clear defiance of the international community’s warnings after Trump said a “major, major conflict” with North Korea is possible, on Thursday.
The launch of the missile, which reportedly broke into pieces shortly after it was fired, marks North Korea’s fourth successive failed missile test, but fears are still looming in regards to Kim Jong-un’s nuclear capability.
Shortly after the hermit kingdom’s launch, the US President tweeted: "North Korea disrespected the wishes of China & its highly respected President when it launched, though unsuccessfully, a missile today. Bad!"
In his first TV interview since the failed missile test, Trump refused to deny that the US would take the possibility of military conflict with North Korea off the table.
“[Kim] is going to have to do what he has to do. But he understands we're not going to be very happy.
